Cornerstone Christian Baptist Church (“Church,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) — effective as of December 3, 2025
Welcome to the website and digital services provided by Cornerstone Christian Baptist Church (the “Sites”). By accessing or using the Sites — including browsing pages, submitting forms, or giving online — you acknowledge that you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please exit the Sites immediately. We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion. Continued use of the Sites after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
1. YOUR ACCEPTANCE
1.1 Binding Agreement. By accessing or using the Sites or any of the Services offered through them, you accept these Terms of Use in full, without modification. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Sites or Services.
1.2 Incorporation of Other Policies. These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy (and any other policies posted on the Sites, such as a code of conduct). Use of the Sites implies acceptance of those policies as well.
2. CONTENT
All materials displayed on the Sites — including, without limitation, text, graphics, images, audio, video, sermons, logos, layout, and design (collectively, “Content”) — are owned, licensed, or controlled by Cornerstone Christian Baptist Church or its content providers. These are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
You are permitted to view, listen to, or download Content solely for your personal, informational, non-commercial use. Any other use — including copying, distributing, modifying, publishing, or creating derivative works from Content — is prohibited without prior written permission from the Church. All proprietary notices, trademarks, and copyrights must remain intact.
3. USER SUBMISSIONS
If you submit any materials — such as photos, videos, text, comments, or other content (“User Submissions”) — you represent and warrant that you own or otherwise have the legal right to submit the content and grant the rights described below. By submitting User Submissions, you grant Cornerstone Christian Baptist Church a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise process your submission in connection with the Sites or Services (for example, for ministry promotions, social media, website content, or other church communications).
We reserve the right, at our discretion, to remove or refuse any User Submission without notice, for any reason, including if it violates these Terms. We do not guarantee confidentiality, anonymity, or continued hosting of any submission. You are responsible for backing up any content you submit.
4. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to use the Sites or Services for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose. You must not attempt to breach site security, upload malicious code, harass or impersonate others, or interfere with the operation of the Sites. Any such misuse may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access.
5. LINKS AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Sites may contain links to external websites or services not controlled by the Church. These links are provided for convenience only, and the Church does not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy, or practices of any linked site. Your access and use of any third-party site is at your own risk.
Furthermore, certain services on the Site (e.g., online giving) may be processed by third-party providers (like Stripe). We do not store full payment card or bank details, and all financial transactions are subject to the third-party provider’s terms and policies.
6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The Sites, Content, and Services are provided “as is.” Cornerstone Christian Baptist Church makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Sites or the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any Content. We do not guarantee that the Sites will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
You agree that your use of the Sites is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cornerstone Christian Baptist Church and its affiliates, staff, volunteers, and representatives will not be liable for any damages — including direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages — arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Sites, Content, or Services.
If any law limits this exclusion, then our total liability to you is limited to the greater of (a) $100, or (b) the amount you paid to us (if applicable).
8. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cornerstone Christian Baptist Church, its officers, directors, staff, volunteers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Sites or Services, your User Submissions, or any violation of these Terms.
9. TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Sites or Services at any time, without notice and for any reason — including, but not limited to, a violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Sites immediately ends. We are under no obligation to delete your User Submissions, and they may remain archived even after termination.
10. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the county where the church is based (or as otherwise agreed).
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will still apply in full.
11. CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to amend or update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last Revised” date accordingly. Your continued use of the Sites after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
